Sorry, it's been a bit quiet on the blog lately. I have been overwhelmingly busy with mom life... like for real. 😂 I now have ALL of my kiddos doing homeschooling. That's right, our youngest, the baby, is FINALLY ready for preschool.... sort of. He's just a fresh new 3 year old so he's kind of into it but kind of not. He will do it and pay attention for like 5 minutes or so... ok exaggeration but it seems like it's that short. Cohen on the other hand is doing so well! Some day's are better than others but for the most part it's been good. It's just been a little bit more busy because the older ones are doing a few co-op classes with other students this year. Which I'm all for! Covid has put a bit of a damper on some of the plans but we made it work.
Speaking of Covid without getting to opinionated how do you feel about it?
My husband and I are at odds with it. He doesn't think it's as bad as they make it seem. I mean maybe it's not as bad as they make it seem because like my husband say's the flu does kill a lot of people every year. For me it's more of they don't know much about Covid and don't have a vaccine. And I understand vaccines are another argument in it's self. I wont get into that one today.
If you know us personally you will know that when our youngest was a little over 1 years old he was in the hospital and transferred to a bigger hospital to have surgery on his kidneys because they were blocked and stopped working. He got VERY sick to the point that we thought he wouldn't make it. It was a very scary time and this happened around the same time my husband got the new job here in Saint Louis. Very crazy time indeed. Anyway him and his older sister have both been hospitalized for being extremely sick. And it just happens to be that those 2 are more likely to get very sick whenever they get a cold or stomach bug. So in knowing this I am VERY cautions when it comes to this Covid-19. I do not want them to get it. So yes, I am that mom who brings her own wipes and wipes down the carts, makes sure they don't touch things at the store and uses hand sanitizers like it's going out of style. I also make them wear a mask, well the older ones... too hard to get the littles to. I also make sure to fold the mask outside in and ALWAYS wash them when we get home.
How do you keep your family safe with Covid-19? Any advice to further keep my family safe? Things to do for the littles? How do you get your little ones to wear mask?
