Who is ready for Christmas? Ha, dare I say that when it's not even Thanksgiving? I'm with you trust me I am.
I use to love the snow and Christmas, but now as I get eh hum older.. I dread it....... EVERY YEAR. The past couple years I have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks. It seemed to happen after I had my 2 younger children.
I just stress over did I spend enough on this person or that person, what if they get me 3 gifts and I only get them 1, will it be fair. Will they like my gift? It goes on an and on in my head and I just get more stressed.
Stressing takes the joy out of the meaning behind this wonderful holiday. It takes the joy out of watching my children be merry. The excitement of playing in the snow, opening Christmas presents and holiday traditions.
I've even become so bahumbug about it that shopping isn't even fun. I for the last couple of years have just ordered everything from Amazon. I do have to say, I really like it. I like the fact that I don't have to be out in the rush of people. I like that I can sit at home! With 4 kids and 2 of them being under 5 going and doing any thing is a struggle.
This year though, with living in a big city I was thinking of checking out some small shop's in the city and going to all the different malls. I know that a lot of times places like this because they have to compete with online shopping will have some really great deals. Plus there is just something about that shopping experience of little shops in a big city!
How do you do your Christmas shopping?
Blessings,
